Secret Fast Food Menu Items You Didn’t Know Existed
Secret menu items prove how creative some people can be when it comes to food. From adding extras to substituting ingredients to combining two items together; here are secret fast food menu items from your favorite restaurants and all their deliciousness!
Chipotle: Quesarito
What's a Quesarito? My friend, let me tell you; if you enjoy munching down on a classic Chipotle Burrito, this takes it to the next level by wrapping your burrito with cheese and a tortilla.
All you have to do is order a Quesarito or a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla and then enjoy the cheesy goodness!
Wendy's: The Barnyard
Old MacDonald had a farm, and our favorite Wendy went and asked for one of each animal to put on a sandwich!
Enjoy this spicy fried chicken, beef, ham, and bacon sandwich with cheese - maybe it will get an upgrade soon thanks to Wendy's new-ish and delicious Breakfast Menu.
Burger King: The Burger King BLT
Who likes Whoppers? I know I do, so here's a simple addition to change it up. Order a Whopper (Or Jr. Whopper) with Bacon! Mind. Blown.
Sometimes a secret menu item doesn't include extreme measures or mashing two burgers together - sometimes it's just a simple and elegant addition like bacon.
McDonald's: The Big McChicken
McDonald's famous Big Mac is a staple to all and is beloved worldwide, and they've definitely tried to add to it-- a few years ago they started a trial of adding bacon to it!
Well, someone said "begone beef!" and asked for fried chicken patties on it instead! And it definitely looks delicious.
Five Guys: Double Grilled Cheeseburger
What's better than a Five Guys burger? A Five Guys burger with grilled cheese sandwiches for buns!
All you have to do is order your regular burger and toppings from Five Guys, ask if it can be between two grilled cheese sandwiches, and then enjoy a cheesy gooey calorie-filled burger!
Chipotle: Burritodilla
If the Quesarito is too big and menacing for you, the Burritodilla is a complete contrast. The slimmer size of this Burritodilla holds half of the burrito toppings sandwiched between cheese and more cheese.
Simply ask for the Burritodilla; or here are the directions, add cheese to a tortilla, then ask for half the amount of burrito toppings, then more cheese, then fold it like a quesadilla, Then bingo, you have a cheesy-licious Burritodilla!
In-N-Out Burger: Flying Dutchman
For those of you who are wanting or needing a break from carbs, bread, and gluten, this burger is the one for you!
No buns here, all you get is a delicious burger patty and cheese! and you can even order it as a double flying dutchman for another patty and cheese!
White Castle: Chicken Parm Slider
This lovely sandwich is a bit of a fun DIY project! You have to order a Fried Chicken Slider and an order of Mozza sticks.
Then you add some Mozza Sticks to the slider and pour marinara over the insides, then enjoy a sure-to-be messy, but delicious sandwich or sandwiches if you want more than one!
Shake Shack: Ice Cream Sandwich
Take a break from all the meat, cheese, more meat, and more cheese with this clever little hack to do at a Shake Shack (though you could probably get away with it at other places too!)
Order ice cream and some toasted buns, then just add the ice cream to the buns, and voila! A lovely little ice cream sandwich for a snack!
Taco Bell: The Hulk/The Incredible Hulk
I'm giving you guys this one as a two-for-one special because I like you so much!
"The Hulk" refers to the smaller burritos and all you have to do is add guacamole. Meanwhile "The Incredible Hulk" is for those who order the 5 or 7-layer burritos and ask to replace the nacho cheese with guacamole. Holy guacamole!
Burger King: The Burger King Club
Another simple and elegant addition changes everything there is to know about this classic Burger King sandwich.
Order an original chicken sandwich - personally one of my favorites - at your local Burger King and add bacon, cheese, and tomato and enjoy a chicken club sandwich for a decent price!
KFC: Triple Down
We all remember how popular the Double Down was when KFC released it a few years ago.
Well someone said, "I want more." And added another layer with an extra chicken patty, extra bacon, and extra cheese. Please head caution before trying this - it's... a lot. Yummy, but a lot.
McDonald's: Land, Sea, and Air Burger
McDonald's figured that it too, needed to have a burger with every meat they sell; and create this awe-inspiring sandwich.
For this McMonster of a burger, order a Big Mac or McDouble then add a fish patty and a chicken patty and try not to get lock jaw as you take a large bite out of it!
Chipotle: Nachos
Sometimes that craving for nachos comes at the most random of times; and to that, we say - Chipotle nachos!
It's quite ingenious actually! All you have to do is order a burrito bowl, and instead of a bed of soft rice on the bottom, ask for a layer of yummy, salty tortilla chips, then stack as many toppings as you want on top and enjoy with friends - or by yourself!
Taco Bell: The Enchirito
Extra, extra, extra, that's how one would describe this item! All you have to do is order an enchilada from your local Taco Bell and add extra melted cheese, extra beans, and extra beef.
Then sit back and enjoy the extra-ness and deliciousness of this mighty and messy secret food item!
White Castle: Harold and Kumar Special
Now I'm not saying go and order this-- what I'm saying is, that it's out there and is popular because of the Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle movie. So do with that information what you will.
The order includes 30 sliders, 5 french fries, 4 large cherry cokes (or diet) - and this is per person, not for a group of people to share.
Shake Shack: Peanut Butter & Bacon ShackBurger
Before I go further into this amazing burger; this is your peanut-allergy warning.
Next time you go into Shake Shack, order a bacon ShakeBurger, and a side of peanut sauce. Then simply pour the peanut sauce onto the insides of your burger and enjoy the flavorful combination of bacon, beef, and peanuts!
Starbucks: Butterbeer Frappuccino/Latte
If there is any company that knows how to do a secret menu, it's Starbucks! Their secret Butterbeer items came to light just after the Harry Potter film franchise finished and took social media by storm.
It's been around long enough that any Potterhead can simply walk into any Starbucks and order a Butterbeer Frappuccino or Latte and the lovely Baristas will know what to do!
McDonald's: The Mc10:35
McDonald's serves some of its breakfast items all day now, so you don't have to only enjoy this in that anxious time frame between 10:30 A.M. and 11:00 A.M.
Many of us have experienced the anxiety when McDonald's is super busy and you don't know if you're going to be able to order breakfast because you're at the back of an extremely long line! But all you gotta do is order a McDouble and a McMuffin of your choice then put the burger patties onto the McMuffin and enjoy.
Arby's: Meat Mountain
If you like meat, Arby's said, "Here you go, take all the meat we have and enjoy it on a sandwich!" This sandwich starts with a fried chicken base, then adds roasted turkey, ham, and swiss cheese - and that's only the first layer!
Next, they add brisket, corned beef, Angus steak, and cheddar cheese. Surely that's it, right? Yea, no, what would a sandwich be without bacon on top? And there you have it! A vegan's worst nightmare and a carnivore's best dream!
