Jennifer Garner Writes Open Letter To Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a video to commemorate their son Archie's first birthday, actress Jennifer Garner penned them a sweet thank you note. In the video of Archie, Meghan is reading him a book called Duck! Rabbit! while Harry can be heard laughing in the background.
Archie thoroughly enjoys the story and is all smiles while sitting on his mother's lap and grabbing at the book's pages. The video was released by the charity Save the Children UK.
Jennifer Garner, who also supports the foundation, wrote a letter to the Sussexes on Instagram. "Dear Meghan and Harry," it starts, "Thank you for sharing your gorgeous son with the world and allowing us to join you in celebrating his first birthday.
We are humbled and grateful that you chose @savewithstories to mark this special day and in so doing—have raised the visibility of @savethechildren's work in the US and UK and have helped feed and educate children in desperate need of both.
More than anything—watching you lovingly talk through the pictures while your clever Archie turns the pages—lifts all of us up and reminds us that what may seem like a duck just might turn out to be a rabbit. Thank you for this joyful and meaningful shift in perspective."
Save the Children strives to make positive changes in the lives of children and works with kids in more than 120 countries around the world. Happy birthday, Archie!
